About the Role

Our client, a global leader in supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst . This position is fully remote and requires an individual capable of providing critical insights into operational efficiency, cost reduction, and performance improvement across various logistics functions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets related to inventory, transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytical tools and methodologies to develop actionable recommendations that enhance the overall supply chain strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to logistics and supply chain operations (e.g., transportation costs, inventory levels, warehouse throughput, delivery times).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for cost optimization within the supply chain.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve transportation routes.
• Develop models and simulations to evaluate the impact of proposed changes or strategies.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to gather data and present findings.
• Research industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations of findings and recommendations for senior management.
• Support ad-hoc analytical projects and requests as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytical outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or data analysis role.
• Proven ability to perform complex data analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel (advanced functions, VBA), or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Experience with demand planning and forecasting methodologies is a plus.
