Job summary

BigTalent is seeking a Lead Architect (Digital & Cloud) to drive cloud and digital architecture strategy from a remote-capable base in Cape Town. You will define future-state architectures, align with IT strategy, and guide vendors and development teams through roadmaps and implementation.

The role requires extensive AWS experience, TOGAF expertise, and a hands-on approach to Terraform, CloudFormation, and SDLC methodologies across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• TOGAF Certification required.
• AWS/Azure certifications are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture aligned with business goals and IT strategies.
• Develop digital architecture solutions with business analysts.
• Support cloud and digital strategy formulation.
• Collaborate with vendors, analysts, and teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board and drive architectural integrity.
