Job summary

A Managed Service Provider is seeking a junior NOC Technician to monitor and maintain client systems remotely from anywhere in South Africa. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in IT support, especially in a Level 1 or NOC role, with strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and RMM tools. This position involves proactive system checks, incident response, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a L1 support, NOC or systems monitoring role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and workstation management.
• Familiarity with RMM tools, ticketing systems, and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client infrastructure for alerts and performance issues using the businesses monitoring tools.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly system health checks on servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Respond to and resolve alerts in accordance with defined SLAs.
