About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized non-profit organization focused on driving sustainable development through data-driven insights, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Impact Measurement Analyst . This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, but requiring a strong connection to South African initiatives. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and refining methodologies to measure the social and environmental impact of our client's diverse programs. The ideal candidate possesses a robust quantitative background, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for understanding and communicating the tangible outcomes of charitable work. You will help shape the narrative of impact by providing robust evidence and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust frameworks for measuring the impact of various projects across different sectors.
• Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to program outcomes and beneficiary experiences.
• Develop and maintain databases and reporting systems for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and causal relationships.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings to internal teams, donors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with program managers to define clear impact objectives and appropriate measurement strategies.
• Contribute to the development of innovative tools and methodologies for impact assessment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in impact measurement, program evaluation, or data analysis, preferably within the non-profit or development sector.
• Strong quantitative and statistical analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as R, Python, SPSS, or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to design measurement frameworks and conduct rigorous analysis.
• Understanding of social and environmental impact metrics and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
