Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Facilities Hygiene Officer to oversee hygiene standards across sites, with a focus on Port Elizabeth. This fully remote role develops, implements, and monitors sanitation programs using digital tools for compliance and remote training.

You will analyze performance data, generate reports, and collaborate with procurement and facilities teams to ensure supplies meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hygiene management or facilities experience.
• Experience developing sanitation policies and procedures.
• Proficient with digital tools for compliance tracking and remote training.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage hygiene and sanitation programs remotely.
• Conduct virtual assessments and audits of cleaning protocols.
• Develop and deliver virtual training modules for on-site staff.
• Monitor hygiene performance metrics and generate reports.
