Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Hygiene Compliance Officer to join our operations team, working from anywhere within South Africa. This fully remote role develops, implements, and monitors hygiene policies across client sites using data analysis to ensure compliance with health regulations.

You will conduct virtual audits, analyze compliance data, and guide on-site staff via webinars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in hygiene management or public health compliance.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and digital collaboration skills.
• Excellent remote communication and ability to work independently.

You will leverage technology and data analysis to ensure compliance with health regulations, best practices, and company standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures applicable to diverse business environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hygiene management, sanitation, or public health compliance, preferably with remote oversight experience.
• Strong understanding of local and international hygiene and sanitation regulations.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of digital collaboration tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise remote interactions.
