Placements24 seeks a Graduate Software Developer for a fully remote position across South Africa. You will design, develop, and maintain software with a distributed team, collaborating with senior developers and product managers to implement features from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented principles.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills, essential for a remote working environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with senior developers and product managers on feature development.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
