Placements24 is seeking a recent Graduate Software Developer to join a fast-growing tech team. The role is fully remote within South Africa, with flexible hours and a distributed group of developers across the country.

You will contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of modern applications using Java/Python/JavaScript, participate in code reviews, and grow through mentorship and hands-on projects in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• A recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in programming concepts and object-oriented design.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Spring Boot).
• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills, especially in a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A passion for software development and a desire to learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
