Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Full-Stack Developer to join a fully remote development team in South Africa. You will contribute to building scalable, user‑friendly e‑commerce platforms, working across front‑end and back‑end to deliver robust features and performant user experiences.

You will collaborate with product managers, design responsive interfaces, integrate third‑party services, and participate in code reviews and testing in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one modern JS framework.
• Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, suited for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code using languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
