Job summary

Placements24 invites a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. You will contribute across the entire stack, from modern front-end UIs to robust back-end services and database systems, delivering scalable financial technology solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of hands-on experience, strong JS/Node, Python, or Java skills, and a passion for fintech. You will work autonomously in a distributed team, embracing best practices and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-6 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one modern JS framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong back-end skills with Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and Git.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end UIs with modern JS frameworks.
• Develop and integrate back-end services and APIs using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Implement and manage SQL and NoSQL databases for data integrity and performance.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code across the full stack.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into features.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing software components.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and FinTech best practices.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols and data protection.
