Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing of raw materials for FMCG products in a fully remote capacity. You will negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires 4+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and supplier relationship management.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure raw materials and ingredients for FMCG production.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality Assurance to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Process purchase orders and manage inventory levels for timely delivery.
