Qualifications

• 20+ years in finance with executive-level mining experience.
• Deep exposure to coal, base or battery metals.
• Ability to move fast, think strategically, and execute independently.
• Commercial fluency in project finance, tax structuring, investor relations, and legal intersections.
• Experienced across African mining jurisdictions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design full financial governance (multi-jurisdictional).
• Advise on capital structuring, offtake, and JV.
• Set up ERP, controls, and cost frameworks.
• Model live financials of exploration and development assets.
• Map commercial risk and provide strategic input at board level.
• Recruit and onboard finance hires.
