Job summary

Placements24 is seeking enthusiastic online ESL tutors to teach English as a Second Language to a global student base in a flexible, part-time, fully remote role. You will design engaging lessons, use online tools, monitor progress, and provide feedback to support learners' goals.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in English/Linguistics/Education and TEFL/TESOL certification is desirable. Experience teaching online and excellent communication with diverse learners are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education or related field.
• TEFL/TESOL certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience teaching ESL, preferably online.
• Excellent command of English, spoken and written.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools.
• Patience, enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ESL lessons to learners via video conferencing.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet objectives and levels.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive online learning environment for learner confidence.
• Manage scheduling, communication and admin tasks for tutoring sessions.
