Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to join a remote, nationwide team. You will develop and implement environmental health strategies, conduct virtual assessments, analyze data, and guide public health initiatives across regions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master\'s in Public Health or Environmental Science with 5+ years in health program management, strong policy skills, and adept communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health or public health program management.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, risk assessment, and policy development.
• Strong understanding of environmental health principles and public health regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate environmental health programs and policies in alignment with public health goals.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and data analysis related to environmental hazards such as water quality, air pollution, and waste management.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders, including government agencies and community organizations, on environmental health matters.
• Prepare detailed reports, research findings, and recommendations for policy changes or intervention strategies.
• Stay abreast of emerging environmental health issues and relevant scientific literature.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex public health challenges related to environmental factors.
