Job summary

Apex Academic Centre seeks Pearson Edexcel tutors to teach International AS and A Level Mathematics online across South Africa and internationally. You set your own hours while we provide you with learners.

You will tutor one-to-one via the MyAPEX platform, confirm the units and sessions, and help students progress from Edexcel International A Level to university entrance requirements. This is an ongoing opening for independent contractors with flexible scheduling and responsibility for your own

Qualifications

• A degree with a substantial mathematics component.
• A teaching qualification such as a BEd or PGCE.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Edexcel International AS and A Level Mathematics one to one online.
• Establishing which units the learner is sitting and which session.
• Teaching the progression from International GCSE to A Level Mathematics.
• Building exam technique for structured questions and pacing across units.
• Listing the units you can cover accurately on your Apex profile.
