Placements24 is offering a fully remote Junior Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship. You will learn digital marketing principles, content creation, social media management, SEO basics, and campaign analysis while contributing to live projects from anywhere in South Africa.

You will work with experienced marketers, receive comprehensive training, and help drive client campaigns across multiple channels in a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Matriculation completed and strong command of English.
• Genuine interest in digital marketing and social media trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, suitable for remote work.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across platforms.
• Create engaging content for social media, blogs, and email newsletters.
• Monitor and respond to social engagement, foster community.
• Support SEO with basic keyword research and on-page tasks.
• Track and report campaign performance using analytics tools.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assist in managing marketing calendars and content scheduling.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce marketing materials.
• Participate in virtual brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas.
