Placements24 is seeking a Digital Communications Manager to lead online presence strategy from a remote position, supporting initiatives in the Klerksdorp, North West region. This pivotal role will drive the development and execution of digital communication strategies, focusing on enhancing online brand visibility, engagement, and reputation management.

You will oversee content creation, SEO/SEM, analytics, and paid digital campaigns, collaborating with teams to ensure a consistent brand voice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, journalism, PR, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in digital communications, social media management or online PR.
• Proven track record developing and executing digital strategies.
• Expertise in content creation, SEO, SEM and social media management tools.
• Strong analytical skills with web analytics experience (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital communication strategies across all online platforms.
• Manage and optimize the company's website content, ensuring it is engaging, SEO-friendly, and up-to-date.
• Oversee social media strategy, content calendar, posting, and community engagement across relevant channels.
• Create compelling digital content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and social media updates.
• Monitor online conversations, brand mentions, and industry trends, responding effectively to maintain positive sentiment.
• Analyze digital campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
• Manage paid digital advertising campaigns, including social media ads and search engine marketing.
• Stay abreast of the latest digital communication trends, tools and best practices.
• Lead virtual crisis communication efforts and manage online reputation proactively.
