Placements24 is offering a fully remote Data Analysis Apprenticeship based out of Bloemfontein. You will gain hands-on experience in data manipulation, reporting, and supporting data-driven decision making with a remote team.

You will learn Excel, SQL basics, and BI tools, build dashboards, ensure data integrity, and communicate findings. The program is designed as a pathway to a Junior Data Analyst role with regular performance reviews and flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset and passion for data.
• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent; degree or quantitative coursework is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn SQL and other data tools.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Effective communication for remote collaboration.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets.
• Learn to use data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python/R basics) to process information.
• Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Support seniors in identifying trends and anomalies.
• Contribute to dashboards and BI solutions.
