Qualifications

• Degree in data science, statistics, CS, economics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation.
• Experience querying databases with SQL.
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI or QlikView.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and cleanse large mining datasets.
• Develop statistical analyses and predictive models for resource yields, efficiency, and risks.
• Create visualizations with Tableau/Power BI for non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify trends and anomalies to inform planning and improvements.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers and management to understand data needs.
