Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist for External Data (Remote/Homebased) to lead setup and ingestion of varied external data streams for clinical trials. You will liaise with stakeholders, develop tsDTA documents, and ensure data transfer accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.

The role requires SDTM knowledge, GCP/ICH familiarity, and hands-on experience in data mapping and integration within multicenter trials. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing data in support of clinical research.
• Experience with external data e.g., Safety Lab, PK, ECG, etc.
• Experience working with external data providers within a clinical study setting.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Experience working on clinical trials.
• Experience collaborating in diverse, cross-functional, global teams.
• Knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
• Assess external data collection requirements per protocol and plan data stream set-up activities.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to define data transfer and structure per data models.
• Create change requests for new data concepts or structures.
• Develop data transfer agreements documenting study requirements and methods.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study needs (monitoring and reporting).
• Coordinate with external data providers for tsDTA alignment.
• Translate medical concepts into data mapping guidance for Clinical programmers.
• Perform UAT of test data transfers for data specification conformance.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms into the CDR with external provider access.
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams and resolve transfer issues.
