Job summary

Tiko is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy for a fully remote, globally distributed blockchain/crypto organization. You will guide the engineering function, drive product development and set the technical roadmap from anywhere in the world.

The role requires extensive leadership in blockchain architectures, distributed systems and cybersecurity, with a focus on regulatory awareness and strategic business alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership roles within blockchain/cryptocurrency.
• Proven CTO or VP of Engineering experience leading tech teams and product development.
• Deep expertise in blockchain architecture, smart contracts, distributed systems and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, digital assets and regulatory landscapes.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s technology strategy with emphasis on blockchain/crypto.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering organization across all tech functions.
• Oversee development and deployment of scalable, secure, reliable platforms and products.
• Drive R&D into new blockchain technologies to gain competitive advantage.
• Manage technology budget, vendor relationships and regulatory compliance.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and technical excellence.
