Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator and PR Assistant to join the communications team. This fully remote role enables you to contribute engaging content for social media, blogs, website, and marketing materials while supporting PR initiatives from anywhere.

You will produce written and visual content, draft press releases, manage social channels, research industry trends, and provide admin support for media campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
• Proven experience in content creation (writing, basic graphic design, video editing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling written and visual content for social media, blogs, website, and marketing materials.
• Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other PR communications.
• Support the management of social media channels, including scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
• Conduct research on industry trends and potential media opportunities.
• Provide administrative support for PR campaigns and media events, including scheduling and logistics.
• Help maintain media contact lists and track media coverage.
