Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, train, and deploy advanced object-detection models and integrate CV solutions across applications.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or a related field, with strong Python skills and experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras, OpenCV, and large-scale data handling.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or related field with CV focus.
Proven experience in developing and implementing object detection models.
Strong Python programming and experience with DL frameworks.
Proficiency with OpenCV and image processing basics.
Experience with large image/video datasets and data annotation tools.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote team.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize deep learning models for object detection (YOLO, SSD, Faster R-CNN, transformers).
Design image preprocessing, feature extraction, and data augmentation.
Train and fine-tune models on large-scale datasets for accuracy.
Deploy models to production with remote operation efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CV solutions.
Keep up with CV and DL research and publish results.
Test and validate models, analyze metrics, and iterate improvements.
Document code, methodologies, and experiments clearly.
