Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to analyze real-world cloud security scenarios and improve AI-driven reasoning about incidents. You will review IAM, networking, storage, and container security across AWS, GCP, and Azure, identifying risks and misconfigurations.

This remote, hourly contract offers 10–40 hours per week and freelance flexibility. Applicants should have 2+ years of production cloud experience and be capable of asynchronous, self-directed work while

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on production experience with cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
• Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations, blast radius analysis, and security incidents.
• Ability to reason clearly about risk exposure and business impact.
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns.
• Review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues with a practitioner's eye.
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact.
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents unfold.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems think like a seasoned cloud security engineer.
