Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Cleaning and Sanitation Consultant to advise on hygiene best practices and help clients across sectors, including the Northern Cape region, from any location.

You will assess current sanitation protocols, develop tailored solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations while staying compliant with health and safety regulations. This role rewards strategic thinking, strong reporting, and remote client engagement via virtual consultations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in cleaning and sanitation management, consulting, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in various industries.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective sanitation strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Strong virtual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients remotely.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or Facility Management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote assessments of clients' existing cleaning and sanitation procedures and facilities.
• Develop comprehensive reports detailing findings and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Design and implement customized sanitation programs and training materials for diverse client needs.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, health and safety standards, and best practices in hygiene management.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the cleaning and sanitation industry.
• Collaborate with clients virtually to ensure successful implementation of recommendations.
