Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Civil Project Manager to join our remote engineering division, supporting projects across South Africa. You will manage end-to-end civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion, coordinating dispersed teams and ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years managing complex civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience in remote project management and leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from initial planning to final handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and manage remote engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
