Placements24 is seeking a qualified Remote Child Development Specialist to support families in the Nelspruit region through online consultations, webinars, and digital resources. You will guide parents on child development, behavior, and learning, while working from home to deliver practical strategies and resources for healthy growth.

The role emphasizes online engagement, content creation, and collaboration with a team focused on early childhood outcomes and digital outreach.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Child Development, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in child development, parent coaching, or early intervention.
• Strong understanding of child psychology, developmental milestones, and family support systems.
• Excellent online communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing platforms, online collaboration tools, and digital content creation.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of remote clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online consultations and provide personalized advice to parents and caregivers on child development topics.
• Develop and deliver engaging webinars and workshops on topics such as positive discipline, early learning strategies, and age-appropriate milestones.
• Create informative digital content, such as articles, guides, and resource lists, to support families.
• Assess parental needs and recommend appropriate strategies and resources to address developmental challenges.
• Collaborate with other specialists and contribute to the development of online support programs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
