Job summary

A prominent design firm is looking for a CAD Draftsman (Retail Shopfitting & Joinery Design) based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will produce high-quality technical drawings, ensuring compliance with UK manufacturing standards. Experience in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is required, along with strong project management skills. This fully remote role offers a salary range of R400,000 to R600,000 per annum, including a medical allowance and 19 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting related to retail, joinery, or shopfitting.
• 5+ years for senior level with strong project delivery capabilities.
• Portfolio of past projects in retail store design.

Responsibilities

• Produce full Inventor drawing packs using the provided A3 drawing template.
• Create machine-ready DXFs for joinery CNC, ensuring clear labeling.
• Ensure all models adhere to UK manufacturing and shopfitting standards.
