Placements24 is seeking a Remote Blockchain Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust blockchain solutions and dApps. You will write secure smart contracts, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to cutting-edge crypto projects from anywhere in the world.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of blockchain development experience, solid knowledge of Solidity and web3 libraries, and a strong ability to communicate in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on blockchain.
• Proficiency in Solidity for smart contract development.
• Experience with frameworks like Truffle, Hardhat, or Brownie.
• Understanding of distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Strong Git version control skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement smart contracts on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, or other platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure dApps.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate dApps with UIs.
• Participate in code reviews to improve quality and practices.
• Troubleshoot performance issues in blockchain systems.
