Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Blockchain Developer to join our remote team. You will design, implement, and deploy secure smart contracts using Solidity, and build dApps across multiple blockchain protocols with modern web3 tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on blockchain development with Solidity.
• Familiarity with web3 libraries (web3.js, ethers.js) and blockchain interaction.
• Understanding of blockchain principles, including consensus mechanisms and token standards.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity.
• Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) using various blockchain protocols.
• Integrate smart contracts with front-end user interfaces using web3.js or ethers.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
• Research and implement new blockchain technologies and features.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the dApp stack.
• Work closely with product managers to define project requirements and timelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
