This fully remote role offers flexible hours and opportunities to present data-driven recommendations to engineering, operations, and management, using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Data Science, Aviation Management or related quantitative field.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Remote Aviation Systems Analyst to join their globally distributed team. This position focuses on optimizing and evaluating complex aviation systems from a data-driven perspective, providing insights that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and performance. You will work with vast datasets related to flight operations, maintenance logs, and system performance, translating raw data into actionable intelligence. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to critical decision-making processes within the aviation industry, leveraging cutting-edge analytical tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets related to flight operations, maintenance records, and system performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for various aviation systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management teams to provide data-driven recommendations for system enhancements and strategic planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system failures or performance deviations, proposing effective solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aviation Systems Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within the aviation sector.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote setting.
