Placements24 is seeking a remote Automotive Software Engineer to join a globally distributed team and contribute to embedded software for automotive platforms and infotainment systems. You will design, implement, test, and optimize software for in-car systems and infotainment, working across hardware and software teams.

You should have a degree in CS/SE or Electrical Eng, strong C/C++/Python skills, experience with RTOS and embedded Linux, and knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven automotive software development experience with embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python for embedded software.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Experience with software tools and Agile methodologies (Git, Jenkins, Agile/Scrum).

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive software development, with a strong understanding of embedded systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to embedded automotive software (e.g., C, C++, Python).
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Agile/Scrum).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote work environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with AUTOSAR is highly desirable.
