Placements24 seeks a skilled Remote Automotive Electronics Engineer to join a distributed international team. You will design and test ECUs, sensors, and power management systems for cutting-edge vehicle electronics from a home office.

You will work with Altium Designer/Cadence, verify designs with SPICE in simulations, and collaborate closely with embedded software engineers to ensure HW-SW integration. AEC-Q and ISO 26262 familiarity is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of automotive electronics hardware design experience.
• Proficiency with circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout tools.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
• Understanding of AEC-Q and ISO 26262 safety principles.
• Hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and remote communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circuit simulations and analyses to verify design integrity and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive electronics hardware design.
• Proficiency in circuit design, simulation (SPICE, PSpice), and PCB layout tools.
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
• Knowledge of automotive quality standards (e.g., AEC-Q) and functional safety (ISO 26262) principles.
• Experience with hardware bring‑up, testing, and debugging.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a remote team environment.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
