Placements24 is seeking a Remote Automotive Diagnostic Engineer to join our client’s team. You will develop and refine diagnostic strategies for a wide range of vehicles, focusing on ECUs, data analysis, and modern diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics or embedded systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Automotive Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python scripting.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet automotive networks.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like Vector CANoe and INCA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement diagnostic algorithms for automotive ECUs.
• Analyze vehicle diagnostic data to identify root causes.
• Collaborate remotely with hardware/software teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for procedures and tools.
• Design test plans for diagnostic features and performance.
• Use simulation tools and test benches to diagnose faults.
• Provide technical support to field service teams.
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and standards.
• Improve diagnostic tools and methodologies continually.
• Present findings to project teams and management.
