Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automation Engineer to join a distributed team. The role focuses on design, development, implementation and support of automated systems for diverse clients, with emphasis on PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and remote delivery.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams through video conferencing and digital tools, troubleshoot remotely, develop test plans, and contribute to ongoing improvements in automation technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial automation engineering.
• Proficiency with PLC programming for Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus.
• Ability to design and implement complex automation solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with robotics programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with simulation tools.
