Responsibilities

As a Remote Area Nurse, you'll deliver primary healthcare services in remote Top End communities, including emergency response, chronic disease management, and health promotion.

You’ll work autonomously, adapt to diverse patient needs, and become a trusted part of the local healthcare team.

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Strong emergency care experience and ability to work on‑call
  • Current or working towards: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Remote Emergency Care (REC) or TNCC, Maternity Emergency Care (MEC), Immuniser Provider & Pharmacotherapeutics (or equivalent)
  • Nursing degree and minimum 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia
  • Experience in Australian primary healthcare or rural clinics (highly desirable)
