Alignerr is seeking an Application Security Analyst (AI Training) to scrutinize real-world production security issues and shape how AI assesses risk. This remote, flexible contract role fits 10–40 hours per week and offers opportunities for ongoing work with a global expert community.

The role emphasizes hands-on security across code, APIs, and live systems, with collaboration to improve AI-driven risk reasoning and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in application, product, or software security.
• Strong familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and real production vulnerabilities.
• Ability to reason about risk in context and explain severity clearly.
• Confident written communicator with structured security thinking.
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on tasks.

Responsabilités

• Analyze realistic application security scenarios across code, APIs, and live systems.
• Classify and prioritize vulnerabilities — auth flaws, injections, and business logic risks.
• Evaluate secure coding practices and remediation strategies.
• Build and validate security-focused reasoning datasets to teach AI.
• Differentiate genuine exploitability from theoretical noise with practitioner judgment.
