Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Airworthiness Compliance Specialist to ensure aviation operations comply with national and international regulations. The role focuses on monitoring regulatory changes, developing policies, and conducting internal audits, all from a home-based office.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, provide staff training on airworthiness, and act as a liaison with regulators during audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of aviation compliance or regulatory experience.
• Strong knowledge of international and local aviation regulations on airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret aviation regulations (EASA/FAA/SACAA) affecting airworthiness and operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and manuals.
• Conduct internal audits of maintenance, operations, and quality systems to identify non-compliance.
• Liaise with regulators during audits and inspections with timely responses.
• Provide guidance and training on airworthiness requirements to operational staff.
• Investigate breaches, create corrective actions, and track effectiveness.
