Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote AI Platform Engineer to design, build and scale AI infrastructure. You will work in a remote-first environment, enabling AI researchers and data scientists to train and deploy models efficiently from anywhere in South Africa.

You will implement MLOps pipelines, manage cloud-based AI workloads with Docker/Kubernetes, and automate provisioning with Terraform or Ansible while ensuring security and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps or SRE for AI/ML infra.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.

Requirements
