Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Agricultural Supply Chain Specialist to join a globally distributed team. This fully remote position focuses on optimizing the flow of agricultural products from farm to market, improving efficiency, quality and traceability through data-driven solutions.

You will analyze processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies across logistics, inventory, and transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with specific experience in the agricultural or food industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current agricultural supply chains, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics, inventory management, and transportation of agricultural goods.
• Collaborate with farmers, processors, distributors, and retailers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Implement traceability systems and quality control measures throughout the supply chain.
• Utilize data analytics and supply chain software to monitor performance, forecast demand, and manage risks.
• Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to achieve cost efficiencies and service level agreements.
