Working remotely, you will leverage Python, R, SQL, and visualization tools to build models, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders, collaborating with agronomists and software teams to implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in data science, statistics, agricultural science, CS or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in agriculture preferred.
• Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R skills.
• SQL and data warehousing knowledge.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for visualization.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large agricultural datasets.
• Develop statistical models and ML algorithms to identify trends and correlations.

You will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and data visualization tools to enhance crop yields, optimize resource usage, and improve overall farm efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various agricultural sources (e.g., sensor data, yield maps, weather data).
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Create insightful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting strategies.
• Collaborate with agronomists, farm managers, and software developers to integrate data insights into operational systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R.
• Experience with database management (SQL) and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of agricultural principles and challenges is highly advantageous.
