Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Advanced Chemistry Tutor to deliver high-quality online chemistry instruction to secondary and tertiary students. You will create engaging digital materials, run live sessions, and support learners online.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Chemistry, teaching qualifications or tutoring experience, and 4+ years of online teaching. Proficiency with Moodle, Blackboard or Canvas and strong virtual communication are essential.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Chemistry and teaching qualification or tutoring experience.
Minimum 4 years of online teaching or tutoring experience in chemistry.
Strong command of secondary and tertiary chemistry topics.

Responsibilities

Conduct live online tutoring sessions for advanced chemistry topics.
Develop and curate digital learning materials and problem sets.
Provide individualized student support through virtual channels.
Facilitate online discussions and collaborative learning activities.
Assess understanding through online assignments and tests with feedback.
Maintain clear communication with students and support teams via email and chat.
Stay updated on online education trends and chemistry pedagogy.
Utilize LMS tools effectively in daily teaching activities.
