Job summary

Pavago is seeking an organized Accountant to join its finance and operations team in a fully remote role. You will manage AR, AP, commissions, and reconciliations while reporting to the Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals and at least 2 years of experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Bill.com and Salesforce, plus a meticulous approach to month-end closing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with AR/AP, bookkeeping, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Bill.com is required.
• Experience using Salesforce is required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process vendor payments and manage accounts payable.
• Calculate and review commission payments.
• Reconcile financial accounts and transactions.
• Update QuickBooks and Salesforce records.
• Generate reports and review financial data.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding financial matters.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
