Reliability Engineer

Key Performance Areas

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our production equipment and maintenance systems. The successful candidate must work closely with other departments to identify potential issues, analyse data, and implement solutions to enhance overall performance and reduce downtime. Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance strategies, including preventative and predictive maintenance (PPM) programs, to ensure long-term cost savings and asset reliability. Provide input on new plant projects and design changes to ensure reliability and availability objectives are met throughout an asset's lifecycle.

Knowledge and Skills

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry and have a National Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and project management skills are also essential for success in this role.
