Job summary

A leading financial services provider in Centurion seeks an experienced Relationship Consultant to manage a portfolio of clients. This role involves offering expert short-term insurance advice, ensuring client retention, and identifying growth opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting client portfolio reviews, negotiating policy renewals, and building long-term relationships. Candidates must have a Full FETC in Short Term Insurance, be licensed FAIS Representatives, and possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in short-term insurance broking or consultancy.
  • Valid FAIS Representative license and compliance with Fit & Proper requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products, underwriting, and claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of existing short-term insurance clients.
  • Conduct client portfolio reviews to assess risk, ensure coverage adequacy, and provide advice.
  • Negotiate policy renewals, manage endorsements, and facilitate the claims process.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling appropriate products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through professional consultation.
  • Ensure compliance with FSCA regulations and maintain accurate client records.

Requirements:

  • Full FETC in Short Term Insurance (NQF 4) is mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a short-term insurance broking or consultancy role.
  • Valid FAIS Representative license and meets Fit & Proper requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products, underwriting, and claims.
