Joint Medical Holdings Group is seeking three Registered Nurses for SICU at City Hospital in Durban. You will provide age-appropriate patient care within the SANC scope, with emphasis on ventilated and cardiac patients.

The role requires SANC registration, willingness to work shifts, and familiarity with MS Word/Excel for documentation. ICU experience is preferred; nurses with ICU/SICU exposure will have advantage.

Formación

• Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.
• ICU trained will be advantageous.
• Cardiac experience is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide age-appropriate patient care within the Ward according to nursing scope.
• Attend to patient care within the SICU and monitor ventilated patients.
• Attend to patient complaints and ensure adherence to hospital policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Must have experience in nursing a ventilated patient.
• Must be competent with the Hospital's Policies and Regulations.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff.
• Attend to patient care within the Ward.
• Attend to patient's complaints.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.
• ICU trained will be advantageous.
• Cardiac experience is essential.
• Must be prepared to do shiftwork (Night shift / Day Shift)
• Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel
