Position: Registered Nurse Trauma (Trained)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Trauma trained) to provide direct and indirect nursing care within the emergency and trauma setting. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing and supervising patient care in line with trauma accreditation standards while ensuring the highest level of evidence-based practice.

Successful candidate will act as role models in clinical excellence and contribute to Clinical Governance within the unit.

Key Requirements

• Nursing qualification: Diploma in General Nursing or BCur Degree
• Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse (essential)
• Additional Emergency Nursing qualification (essential)
• 25 years experience in an Emergency Department
• Proven experience as a shift leader within an Emergency Department
