The role requires 4–7 years of Critical Care and Theatre Nursing experience, with a strong emphasis on staff development, safety, and stakeholder collaboration within the hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Theatre Nursing accreditation.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in Critical Care Nursing and Theatre Nursing.
• Ability to manage theatre equipment and staff effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in performing surgical procedures.
• Ensure Optimal patient care pre- and post-operatively.
• Manage theatre equipment and instrumentation, including staff education and supervision.
• Provide theatre-specific training and assess staff competence.
• Monitor and control stock, consignment stock, and equipment.
• Ensure effective SHEQ management, PPE use, and medical waste disposal.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Report and escalate unresolved issues to the unit manager.
