Job description

We have exciting opportunities available to join ARRCS as a Registered Nurse. With roles available across the Northern Territory – Darwin, Nhulunbuy, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Mutitjulu and Docker River regions.

These positions are being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and offers an attractive remuneration package $46.20 - $48.52 / per hour including salary packaging and flexible working conditions.

As an ARRCS Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical care to our residents within our facility. You will work across a rotating fortnightly roster which includes both day and night shifts and provide clinical and team leadership, supervision and support for less experienced clinicians and support workers to achieve people focused quality care in accordance with the ARRCS mission.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working and supporting aged care in remote locations. You will have a firm yet caring nature and be a hands‑on person who is always willing to jump in and support the team when required. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience as a skilled Registered Nurse with preference to geriatric or aged care environment.

  • Penalty driven hourly rate of an Aged Care Registered Nurse Level 2 - $46.20 - $48.52 / hour ($91,290 - $95,850 PA) gross base

Skills & experience

To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse (in addition to graduate placements) – With preference within a geriatric or aged care environment however, not essential.
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi‑cultural care team.
  • Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to meet and obtain mandatory compliance requirements as stated below.
