Registered Dental Hygienist (Steamboat Springs)

Northwest Colorado Health is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality healthcare.

Currently, you will join a healthcare organization with a staff of 11 providers at four locations, delivering primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to over 5, patients.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in implementing dental services at the Community Health Center and practice dental hygiene clinically.
  • Integrate oral health care into the comprehensive, team-based care delivery system within the CHC and community.
  • Provide direct patient care, including periodontal scaling and root planning, maintenance procedures, prophylaxis, screenings, radiographs, sealant and fluoride applications, anesthetic delivery, oral cancer screenings, hygiene education, and oral evaluations and counseling with primary caregivers of children under three.
  • Make appropriate referrals to outside dental providers for comprehensive care beyond your scope.
  • Provide feedback and insights to help Northwest Colorado Health improve continuously.
